Job Description
This position supports the identification, recruitment, and academic success of eligible migrant children and youth (ages 321) by connecting home, school, and community resources.

- Identify and recruit eligible migrant students and youth within the service area, including conducting eligibility interviews and completing required documentation (COEs and reports)
- Build relationships with migrant families through visits to homes, worksites, and community locations to ensure access to services and support
- Provide instructional support in reading, GED preparation, life skills, and early childhood development to promote kindergarten readiness and high school completion
- Foster parent and family engagement by sharing program information and encouraging participation in school events and advisory meetings
- Serve as a liaison between families, schools, and the migrant education program, including translating and interpreting as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential student and family records and ensure compliance with all state and federal program regulations
- Collaborate with program staff and participate in required trainings to stay current on best practices and policies
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating supplemental programs, including summer and in-home services.
