Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events, and creating strong talent pipelines for the Company's current and future hiring needs. You Will Sourcing Strategy & Talent Identification
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
- Determine the most effective sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach) based on role requirements and market conditions
- Build and maintain active talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs
- Continuously evaluate sourcing effectiveness and adjust strategies to improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes Full-Cycle Recruitment & Candidate Assessment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including intake consultation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer recommendations
- Evaluate candidate qualifications and make informed recommendations to hiring managers based on business needs and job requirements
- Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and engagement to assess organizational fit and interest
- Influence hiring decisions by providing insights on candidate quality, availability, and market competitiveness Recruitment Operations & Cost Optimization
- Manage and optimize job postings and recruitment advertising to ensure effective use of budget and resources
- Monitor sourcing channel performance and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cost-per-hire
- Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes and tools to enhance productivity and results Recruitment Technology & AI-Enabled Recruiting
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing platforms, and AI-assisted recruiting tools to support candidate sourcing, talent pipeline development, and recruitment process efficiency
- Evaluate recruiting technology effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance hiring outcomes and recruiter productivity
- Leverage recruiting data, automation tools, and market insights to optimize sourcing strategies and fulfillment results
- Ensure the appropriate and compliant use of AI-assisted recruiting tools in alignment with company policies and applicable employment laws Recruitment Performance & Accountability
- Own and drive achievement of key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, fulfillment rate, and pipeline quality
- Analyze recruiting data and trends to identify gaps and implement strategies to improve hiring outcomes
- Adjust sourcing approaches, prioritization, and recruiting strategies to meet hiring targets and business needs
- Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on recruiting progress and performance Stakeholder Collaboration & Hiring Support
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on sourcing strategies and candidate selection
- Advise hiring managers on labor market trends, candidate availability, and realistic hiring expectations
- Ensure alignment between hiring needs and recruitment strategies Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Represent the company brand in all candidate interactions
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates and hiring teams Offer Process & Hiring Execution
- Develop and present candidate recommendations and offer inputs aligned with company guidelines
- Support the offer process and ensure timely hiring decisions
- Coordinate hiring steps as needed while maintaining ownership of recruitment outcomes Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, California State, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate oversight of ATS data and recruitment activities
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to guide decision-making You Should Have / Be
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited university/college
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience in California, with a strong emphasis on hands-on sourcing, preferably in chain retail stores/supermarkets/restaurants, manufacturing, warehouses, or other high-volume workforce environments
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies independently in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in candidate evaluation and hiring recommendations
- Experience influencing hiring managers and contributing to hiring decisions
- Experience using modern recruiting technologies, including ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AI-assisted talent acquisition tools to support full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies
- Must be able to ensure recruiting practices, including the use of AI-assisted recruiting tools, comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Strong knowledge of federal, California State, and local employment laws related to recruiting and hiring practices (e.g., fair hiring, background checks, pay transparency)
- Excellent sourcing skills using job boards, social media, ATS platforms, and networking techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust strategies based on results
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities, and meet hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter and self-learner with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to drive continuous improvement proactively
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in
HRIS & ATS
systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications- Bilingual in English and Chinese or English and Spanish is highly preferred

- May require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs. (e.g., files, supplies, recruiting materials)
- Requires frequent communication with candidates, employees, and management in person, by phone, and via email Shift
- 5-day work week (Monday to Friday), 9:00am - 5:30pm (Actual working hours may vary slightly by department, depending on operational needs.
