Description We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support hiring needs in California. This is a long-term contract position focused on managing end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles while delivering a detail-oriented and engaging candidate experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong sourcing expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to balance compliance, speed, and quality throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions, from talent identification and candidate evaluation through interview coordination and offer delivery.
- Build diverse talent pipelines by using job boards, social platforms, networking channels, and other creative sourcing methods to attract applicants with relevant experience.
- Draft compelling job advertisements and posting content that clearly communicate role expectations and reflect the employer brand.
- Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to align recruiting strategies with workforce needs and maintain progress against hiring timelines.
- Ensure screening and selection activities follow applicable employment laws and support fair, consistent hiring practices.
- Organize and represent the company at hiring events, community functions, and industry gatherings to strengthen market presence and expand referral networks.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition activity, and hiring documentation within the applicant tracking system.
- Support onboarding coordination and communicate candidate decisions promptly and respectfully, including decline notifications. Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing full cycle recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt roles.
- Hands-on background in sourcing, corporate recruiting, and high-volume hiring environments.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and the ability to keep recruitment data organized and up to date.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create effective and persuasive recruiting content.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with varied stakeholders.
- Familiarity with employment-related compliance requirements and best practices in candidate selection.
- Ability to travel to different locations for recruiting events, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industry, and an associate degree in human resources, business, marketing, or a related field, are preferred.
