Recruiting Intern Vessel Talent Vessel Talent is a boutique recruiting firm that partners with top-tier VCs in the Bay Area — including Khosla Ventures and Sequoia Capital — to help their portfolio of AI and hardtech startups build world-class engineering teams. We've placed talent across humanoid robotics, autonomous vehicles, drone swarms, and more. We're highly technical, genuinely human, and we deliver results. The Role We're looking for a sharp, curious intern to own one focused but high-leverage function: matching candidates from our internal talent database against open roles across recruiting marketplaces and client requisitions. That's it — but doing it well requires real judgment. You'll be exposed to a wide range of technical roles across frontier industries, and you'll need to quickly develop an eye for what makes a strong match and act on it. What You'll Do Review incoming role requirements across multiple platforms and deeply understand what each client is looking for Search and filter our internal candidate database to surface strong matches Present matched candidates to the team with clear, concise rationale Keep matching activity organized, tracked, and up to date What You'll Need Currently pursuing a B.S. from an accredited university Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail Genuine curiosity about technical roles and emerging tech (AI, robotics, defense, etc.) Ability to move quickly and prioritize with minimal direction Clear, concise written communication Nice to Have Prior exposure to recruiting, sales, or sourcing Familiarity with ATS tools, sourcing platforms, or candidate databases
