6-Month Contract with Potential to Convert to Direct Hire Position Summary System One is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support specialized engineering recruitment within the nuclear power industry. This position will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, with a strong focus on sourcing and engaging experienced engineering professionals for nuclear plant projects, modifications, system upgrades, and other technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have recent experience recruiting I&C, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural Engineers within the nuclear industry and be comfortable independently partnering with hiring managers and business leaders. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical positions. Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates for project-specific requirements. Proactively identify and engage passive engineering candidates through multiple sourcing channels. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support the candidate selection and offer process. Manage assigned requisitions from opening through placement. Partner directly with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, project schedules, and staffing priorities. Support project-based hiring tied to mobilization dates and site requirements. Track recruiting activity, staffing plans, and hiring progress. Assist with candidate redeployment prior to project completion. Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, health screens, I-9s, E-Verify, and site-specific requirements. Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process. Required Experience 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including recent experience recruiting engineering professionals within the nuclear power industry. Direct recruiting experience across I&C, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural Engineering. Experience recruiting engineers supporting plant modifications, design engineering, and system upgrades. Understanding of nuclear-specific engineering requirements, including design packages, field walkdowns, system ownership, NRC regulations, and nuclear plant operations. Experience recruiting for digital controls, legacy system upgrades, and instrumentation/control systems is highly preferred. Strong experience sourcing and engaging passive engineering candidates. Experience supporting project-based hiring where technical requirements, schedules, mobilization dates, and site needs are critical. Ability to independently support business leaders and hiring managers as the primary engineering recruiter. Strong sense of urgency, follow-up, organization, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn ATS platforms. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree.
