Job Description:
The Recruitment Specialist is directly accountable to the Associate Director of Recruitment for the following duties and responsibilities: The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive leadership role in helping the College effectively manage change. Effectively represent NWFSC at various campus events, community events, college fairs, schools, and businesses in-state and out-of-state as directed in a professional and highly-knowledgeable manner. Build professional and institutional relationships with teachers, counselors, students, and parents. Deliver engaging presentations at recruiting events. Maintain detailed knowledge of all admissions requirements and procedures with the ability to provide detailed, personal assistance to applicants and prospective students. Maintain current and detailed knowledge of all degree and certificate offerings and be able to effectively communicate related information to prospective students. Guide prospective students through the application for admissions to the college, providing consistent follow-up and support when needed. Provide tours to prospective students and other visitors at various campus and center locations. Actively communicate and respond to prospective students in a timely, professional manner. Meet or exceed recruitment goals as assigned and actively seek new opportunities for growing outreach efforts. Play an active role in all recruitment events and initiatives as directed. Complete mandatory annual compliance training. Benefits Health insurance for employee and dependent coverage available. Requirements:
Associate's degree with two (2) to (4) four years documented relevant work experience or Bachelor's degree with one (1) to three (3) years documented relevant work experience.. Ability to travel in-state, out-of-state, and occasionally overnight. Previous sales and/or recruitment experience preferred. Proficient computer skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Demonstrated excellence in customer service/relations. Goal-driven with the ability to provide reliable insight into opportunities for improvement. •Preference will be given to those applicants with the ability to speak Spanish (bilingual)•
