Job Description
Description We are looking for a Recruiter to join a growing team on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and guiding highly skilled technical professionals through the hiring process for specialized industries such as aerospace, defense, gaming, simulation, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of full-cycle recruiting, builds credibility with both candidates and hiring partners, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where quality and responsiveness matter.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete recruitment process from initial intake discussions through offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
- Source technical talent with relevant experience through online platforms, networking, referrals, and other targeted recruiting channels.
- Evaluate candidate backgrounds, conduct screening conversations, and assess alignment with role requirements and client expectations.
- Coordinate interview schedules, gather feedback, and keep candidates and hiring stakeholders informed throughout each stage.
- Maintain multiple open searches at once while ensuring timely follow-up, strong candidate experience, and consistent delivery results.
- Develop relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand workforce needs and provide strategic recruiting support.
- Use applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to document activity, organize pipelines, and monitor hiring progress.
- Support recruiting team effectiveness by sharing market insights, best practices, and guidance with peers when needed. Requirements
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
- Background recruiting for technical positions such as software engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, or similar skill areas.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent requisitions while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with candidates and hiring teams.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms; familiarity with Bullhorn is preferred.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Prior exposure to recruiting within aerospace, defense, gaming, simulation, or cybersecurity sectors is highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
