As a Staffing Specialist, you will recruit, screen, onboard, and hire qualified candidates for client sites while supporting customer staffing needs, employee relations, workplace safety, and hiring compliance. This is a direct-hire position. - 5:00 PM Periodic nights and weekends may be required as needed Career Path Staffing Supervisor Associate Relations Specialist Associate Relations Leader Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED 1 year of professional work experience Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree HR certification, such as PHR or SHRM-CP Lean Green Belt certification 1•3 years of human resources or recruiting experience Root cause analysis training General Requirements Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer and client focus Strong sense of urgency Ethical conduct Personal effectiveness and credibility Ability to supervise MAU Associates and Administrative Support personnel as assigned Essential Functions Recruit, screen, orient, onboard, and hire qualified candidates based on customer work order requirements Hire, supervise, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and recommend changes in employee status Consistently orient and onboard new associates according to standards established for each customer Administer company policies and procedures Maintain a strong applicant pipeline through job advertising, recruiting source development, and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports Regularly review customer work orders and communicate with clients regarding staffing requirements Develop and update orientation programs for new and existing clients Establish new pay and bill rates with manager approval Administer candidate and employee assessments as required by clients Receive, process, and analyze customer work orders Process merit, tenure, and incentive increases Submit Billing Source Documents as appropriate for each customer Communicate with customers to resolve invoice non-payment issues Manage workplace injury cases during working hours, including accident investigations and completion of Accident/Injury Reports and Workers' Compensation Packets Attend unemployment and workers' compensation hearings as required Maintain a high level of customer service through scheduled client-site visits Establish and maintain appropriate candidate levels in Kanban pools to support quick turnaround on customer job orders Work closely with clients to support safe work environments, legal compliance related to hiring and termination, and successful placement of qualified candidates Work Environment and Physical Demands Work primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines Occasionally work at customer sites in administrative and manufacturing environments Customer sites may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy industrial vehicles Work environments may range from non-temperature-controlled facilities to GMP clean room environments Physical Requirements Ability to periodically lift 5•20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand or walk for up to 4 hours Ability to climb stairs multiple times per day Ability to sit for up to 4 hours Travel Limited travel required Ability to travel overnight preferred MAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
