ABOUT THE ROLE
The People & Culture Talent Partner is the engine behind our ability to find, attract, and hire great people. This role owns the full recruitment lifecycle — from the moment a requisition opens to the day a new hire walks through the door — and is the person our hiring managers count on to bring both urgency and strategy to every search. This is not a reactive, post-and-pray role. The ideal candidate will not " just source talent; they build dynamic talent ecosystems that foster internal mobility, agile workforce planning, and proactive hiring strategies." Our Talent Acquisition Partner is the architect of that ecosystem — keeping pipelines warm, candidates engaged, and our ATS working hard for us every day. This position is located in our office in Champaign, ILWHAT YOU'LL DO
Full-Cycle Recruiting — Manage end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of roles; screen, interview, coordinate, and close offers while ensuring a seamless candidate experience. ATS Management (Paycor) — Serve as the team's Paycor power user; maintain accurate candidate records, manage requisitions and reporting, and train hiring managers on best practices. Passive Sourcing — Proactively build pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and referral networks; nurture relationships before the need is urgent. Process Improvement — Audit and improve recruiting workflows; develop standardized templates, interview guides, and scorecards that scale. Hiring Manager Partnership — Act as a strategic advisor; set expectations, surface risks early, and coach managers on inclusive and compliant hiring practices.WHAT YOU BRING
3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a demonstrated track record of filling roles across a variety of functions and levels Experience with high-volume and/or multi-site recruiting strongly preferred Hands-on experience with Paycor Recruiting or a comparable ATS platform required; Paycor-specific experience is a significant plus Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other creative channels Experience building or improving recruiting processes, templates, or programs Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent experience PHR, SHRM-CP, or LinkedIn Recruiter certification a plusWORK ENVIRONMENT
