$21.00•$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
8:30am•5:00pm, Monday•Friday The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts, managing high-volume job orders, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior recruiters within the branch. This role requires a strong background in light industrial staffing, demonstrated leadership experience, and the ability to drive recruiting strategy, improve candidate quality, and support branch performance Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting (Primary Function): Manage end-to-end recruiting for high-volume light industrial positions, including: Warehouse associates Forklift operators Machine operators Material handlers Shipping/receiving Clerical/light admin (as needed) Conduct sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and placement Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support all open orders Ensure compliance with onboarding documentation and company policies Coordinate daily starts, confirmations, and attendance with clients and associates
Leadership & Team Support:
Serve as a mentor and lead resource for junior recruiters and coordinators Provide guidance on recruiting best practices, documentation, and candidate vetting Assist in training new team members on systems, process flow, and client expectations Support branch leadership in enforcing performance standards and accountability. Model positive communication, teamwork, and professionalism for the recruiting team
Order Management & Client Communication:
Review, prioritize, and assign job orders when needed in collaboration with the Branch Manager Provide daily updates to clients regarding candidate pipeline and fulfillment progress Ensure roles are filled with qualified, vetted candidates that meet client standards Attend client meetings or calls when requested to discuss performance, updates, and workforce needs
Candidate Sourcing & Talent Attraction:
Post job advertisements on multiple platforms including Facebook, and local community resources Drive recruiting events including: Onsite job fairs Walk-in Wednesdays Community partnerships Hiring events with city, county, or nonprofit programs Develop new sourcing channels to attract skilled light industrial talent
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Track interviews, submittals, starts, and weekly recruiting metrics Report candidate flow and recruiting status to the Branch Manager daily Assist with turnover tracking and identifying trends to improve retention
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in staffing/recruiting, specifically in a temporary labor market Prior leadership, senior recruiter, lead recruiter, or team lead experience required Experience managing high-volume requisitions Strong familiarity with onboarding, compliance, and safety protocols Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills Proficient in web applications and Microsoft Word/Excel A go-getter mentality with the ability to self-manage and work effectively in teams Experience sourcing candidates through social media and community resources Avionte BOLD experience is a plus
Skills:
Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to coach, mentor, and guide team members High level of organization, time management, and follow-up Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems (Avionte experience is a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
