Job Description
Description Position Summary The Talent Acquisition & Staffing Specialist supports all hiring activity for the Morton Grove site by managing recruitment, coordinating interviews, and ensuring smooth operational processes across P&O. This role partners closely with hiring managers, approved staffing vendors, and candidates to deliver an efficient, compliant, and positive hiring experience. Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Manage recruitment for hourly, professional, and technical roles at the Morton Grove site.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job postings, and create sourcing strategies.
- Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate hiring team evaluations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and community outreach.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement. Staffing Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for approved staffing vendors supporting Morton Grove.
- Communicate hiring needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles to vendors to ensure alignment.
- Monitor vendor performance, candidate quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate onboarding and assignment details for temporary or contract workers sourced through vendors.
- Ensure vendor activity aligns with P&O policies, budget guidelines, and service-level expectations. Interview & Hiring Coordination
- Coordinate all interview logistics, including scheduling, on-site arrangements, panel availability, and candidate travel when needed.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Prepare interview materials, agendas, and evaluation tools to support hiring teams.
- Track interview outcomes and ensure timely follow-up and next steps. Process Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in the ATS and HR systems.
- Support offer development, background checks, pre-employment requirements, and new-hire documentation.
- Prepare recruiting dashboards, metrics, and reports for P&O leadership.
- Ensure all hiring activities comply with federal, state, and company policies. Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
- Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and local partnerships.
- Support internal mobility initiatives and promote career opportunities within the organization.
- Contribute to recruitment marketing and employer branding content. P&O Collaboration & Support
- Partner with P&O colleagues on workforce planning, staffing strategies, and site-level HR initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and new-hire integration.
- Provide administrative support for P&O programs such as training coordination, employee engagement events, and compliance activities. Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of recruiting or HR coordination experience.
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Preferred
- Experience working with staffing vendors or managing contingent workforce programs.
- background in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or scientific recruiting.
- Familiarity with Paylocity, Workday, or similar systems.
