Empower Families and Build Bright Futures—On the Go! Substitute Family Educator/Recruiter Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Agency Vehicle Provided Make a Difference in Homes and Communities Do you enjoy variety in your work and have a passion for supporting families? Join SEK-CAP, Inc. as a Substitute Family Educator/Recruiter and help families access resources, set goals, and support their child's development. This unique position travels between locations using an agency-provided vehicle , providing home-based education and family engagement services when regular educators are unavailable and assisting with recruitment efforts. What You'll Do Conduct weekly home visits to support parents in providing developmentally appropriate learning activities. Assist families in setting and achieving goals for self-sufficiency. Recruit eligible families for Early Head Start and Head Start programs. Complete applications and verify eligibility documentation. Maintain child assessments and family progress records in agency systems. Collaborate with community partners to connect families with resources. Plan and facilitate group socializations and parent engagement activities. What We're Looking For Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred CDA credential or willingness to obtain within 6 months Ability to obtain Home Visitation Training within the first year CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance guidelines
