Seasonal Chelsea, MA Apply SUMMARY:
Key member of the Human Resources Organization who champions Kayem values. Will execute a talent recruiting and onboarding process, focusing on recruiting Kayem family members who will enhance the Kayem culture of employee engagement, professional development and continuous improvement that results in positive business impact. Reporting to the VP, People, candidate will partner closely with Human Resources professionals and Kayem business leaders to understand the broader strategic objectives and talent that best supports and drives the culture, promoting a unique employee experience, and making Kayem a great place to work. Your role goes beyond recruiting talent, you are key to building an amazing company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates requisition and verifies approval for replacement or new role. Posts position on targeted job boards or recruiting job fairs according to the role (i.e. Indeed, Linked In, etc.) Searches, prescreens, interviews, and recommends qualified candidates as per guidelines set by Kayem Foods, Inc. Owns the recruiting process that includes sourcing, resume review, communication with hiring managers, coordinating interviews, decision-making meetings, selection of finalist candidates, reference, and other pre-employment checks, offer letters, compensation evaluation, transition to Human Resources onboarding stakeholder, and follow up new hire activities Manage all internship activities from planning through onboarding Generates reports/data for KPI tracker to be used to analyze recruiting performance and internal customer and candidate satisfaction levels Track effectiveness of advertising and other recruiting tactics Participates in other HR activities and continuous improvement activities as assigned
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technology oriented and experienced in utilizing applicant tracking, social media, job posting sites and other electronic technology and tools Must have an understanding of employment regulations and compliance Exceptional collaboration, relationship, and consultative skills Strong organizational and documentation skills Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and be able to balance multiple priorities Ability to manage change. Proficient with Microsoft 365 and virtual meeting capabilities Bilingual in Spanish required EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of related recruiting experience Familiar with general HR practices and appropriate employment law
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is based at Kayem Foods' corporate headquarters, which is located within our active production facility. Team members may occasionally experience noise and activity from the plant floor as part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The office setting combines collaborative spaces and individual work areas, supporting teamwork across departments such as Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment, and communicate clearly in person and over the phone. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend, or reach during normal office activities. The position primarily operates in a professional office located within a food manufacturing facility, which may involve occasional exposure to moderate noise from the plant floor. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
