Manufacturing Process Development :
Ability to define, design, and deliver manufacturing processes for complex assembly products - from conceptual phase through full production scale-up.
Process Engineering Fundamentals:
Strong command of PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), time studies, line balancing, and P-FMEA. Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Capable of analyzing product designs and providing actionable DFM recommendations.
GD&T:
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and its application in manufacturing.
Equipment & Vendor Management:
Capable of writing technical specifications and managing vendors through full equipment commissioning.
Industrial KPIs:
Strong understanding of operational metrics - OEE, MTTR, MTBF, cycle time, throughput, yield, etc.
Digital Manufacturing:
Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and digital manufacturing principles. Capable of analyzing product designs and providing actionable DFM recommendations Experience in high-volume manufacturing within a Tier 1 automotive environment Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and digital manufacturing principles End-to-end manufacturing development lifecycle: concept ? process design ? validation ? ramp ? full production Strong command of PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), time studies, line balancing, and P-FMEA.
