Job Description

The Regional Recruiter is primarily responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of candidates for open positions, in Keany Produce and across multiple subsidiaries in and out of state The responsibilities of this role include the review and update of job descriptions, the sourcing of potential candidates, the scheduling and conducting of interviews, the negotiation of job offers, and the management of subsequent processes following an offer. The Regional Recruiter will directly report to the Recruiting Manager. Although the main emphasis will be on recruitment activities, further responsibilities may be allocated as necessary. This position operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, necessitating an individual who can multitask and adapt to new challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a facilitator during the recruitment process for hiring managers. Ensure the retention of new hires by identifying the most suitable candidates for the role, establishing clear expectations concerning company culture and job responsibilities, and performing check-ins along with post-hire surveys with new employees to recognize and address any challenges they may face in adapting to their new positions Organize and schedule intake meetings with hiring managers for all forthcoming job openings Identify potential candidates through various sourcing techniques to establish a strong candidate pipeline. Evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, as well as conducting phone interviews. Take responsibility for the candidate experience by overseeing the process to ensure a positive candidate experience. Assist in the creation of job postings, job descriptions review, and providing recommendations for position qualifications. Conduct reference checks as needed. Facilitate the offer process by presenting job offers and negotiating employment conditions. Assist in the onboarding process by facilitating communication between the new hire and the onboarding team. Assist in new hire orientations in the absence of the onboarding and orientation specialist. Remain informed about recruitment trends and best practices. Manage the entire interview, selection, and offer process. Ensure that all screening, hiring, and selection activities comply with employment laws and regulations. Plan and organize hiring events/ Job fairs both in and out of state.
Work Environment:
This role will primarily be based on an office environment, with occasional visits to the facility floor during candidate tours
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline is required. A minimum of five years of experience in recruitment is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Proven ability to cultivate effective and collaborative working relationships based on trust. Sound experience recruiting in a warehouse environment. Proven experience hiring for exempt and corporate roles. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities are necessary. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS is required. Ability to manage diverse relationships with various stakeholders is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected. Knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening processes is essential. A basic understanding of employment laws and regulations is required. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
