The Provider Recruiter I supports the recruitment and hiring of physicians and advanced practice providers. This position partners with hiring managers and candidates to coordinate recruiting activities, source qualified candidates, and provide a positive experience throughout the hiring process. The successful candidate is organized, customer-service focused, and able to build professional relationships with a variety of people. The Provider Recruiter will assist candidates through each step of the recruitment process, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal teams to help fill provider vacancies. This role contributes to the organization's success by helping attract talented healthcare providers and supporting staffing needs across the health system.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage full-cycle recruitment for physician and APP positions, ensuring service standards are upheld through timely application screening, applicant communication, phone interviews, and the delivery of complete candidate profiles to practices. Coordinate follow-up and issue prompt site visit invitations. + Facilitate candidate interviews, site visits, and recruitment logistics (virtual and onsite), ensuring a seamless and high-quality candidate experience. Responsibilities include coordinating materials, keeping schedules on track, supporting interviewers, filling unexpected schedule gaps, arranging hospital and community tours, and providing family support. + Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout all recruitment stages, including pre-screening, coordinating phone interviews, and planning and facilitating on-site visits for candidates and their spouse/significant other and family. + Source and attract candidates using diverse methods such as networking, medical student engagement, conferences, referrals, and digital platforms. Design targeted marketing campaigns and implement candidate-generating tactics including national/local advertising, digital outreach, direct mail, residency events, publications, and job fairs. Represent the organization at both local and national recruitment events. + Update various recruitment databases in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of candidate progress. + Serve as an ambassador for Northern Light Health supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process and assisting new hires and their families with relocation needs such as housing, community engagement, and school/daycare resources. + Provide departmental coverage as needed and model professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude across the organization. +
