Job Description

A nonprofit services organization in Maine is seeking a new Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in South Portland. About the
Opportunity:
Schedule:
Monday to
Friday Hours:
9am to 5pm
Setting:
Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
Source, identify, and screen qualified candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, and sourcing tools Manage candidates through the full recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, feedback, offer negotiation, and closing Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies Provide recruiting updates and insights to hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership Maintain candidate pipelines, recruiting data, and applicant tracking system records while supporting process improvements
Qualifications:
3+ years of full-cycle Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience recruiting across multiple functions, levels, and business disciplines Proven ability to proactively source, engage, and assess talent Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Recruiting technologies Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting social services, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations Experience building talent pipelines and supporting high-volume requisitions Consultative partnering skills with hiring managers and business leaders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
