3 days onsite in Troy, MI and 2 days remote from home. About the Role Are you an experienced recruiter with a background in the automotive or manufacturing industry ? Client is looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its team in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, R D, operations, manufacturing, and HR leaders to develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies for technical and specialized positions across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process , from job intake through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source qualified candidates through Workday, LinkedIn, social media, job boards, external databases, and professional networks . Create and post job opportunities across social media, job boards, and other recruiting platforms. Conduct candidate screening and coordinate interviews with hiring teams. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Partner with hiring managers to ensure effective candidate evaluation and a smooth hiring experience. Develop and maintain professional and social networks to identify potential candidates. Represent Valeo at career fairs, university recruiting events, industry events, networking events, and community initiatives . Work closely with Talent Acquisition team members, hiring managers, and HR partners to support recruiting processes and standards. Track and support recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, and requisition activity . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field . 5+ years of recruitment experience within an automotive supplier, OEM, manufacturing, or related environment. Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, corporate, and technical positions . Workday experience is required. Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience tracking recruiting metrics and developing recruitment reports. Experience with career fairs and university recruiting. Experience supporting industry and networking events. Experience with employer branding and talent marketing initiatives. Automotive or manufacturing recruiting experience.
