Staffing Coordinator/ Specialist :
Hastings, MN The Staffing Coordinator/Specialist role is a dynamic combination of customer service, recruiting, and administrative support. This team member serves as the first point of contact for Hughes Recruiting & Consulting, professionally answering incoming calls, welcoming office visitors, and assisting applicants, field employees, and clients. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance recruiting activities with customer service responsibilities. Staffing Coordinator/Specialist :
Staffing Answer, screen and direct incoming calls. Greet and assist walk-in applicants, employees and business guests. Maintain applicant tracking system and update records. Record new job orders (capture details and enter in computer system) . Conduct targeted online searches for candidates (resume sourcing) and make initial candidate contact . Conduct applicant interviews . Fulfill job orders (call potential applicants, email bios/resumes to clients, and schedule interviews) . Provide post-offer onboarding support (hiring documents, safety/harassment videos, drug testing, customer orientation) . Participate in candidate recruitment efforts (job fairs, Internet, other media) . Account Management Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, with the goal of staying current on their evolving needs. Participate in candidate/client outreach activities (lunch-and-learn classes, employment forums, client worksite presentations) . Attend various networking opportunities on behalf of the company (community and business events such as monthly Chamber Business After Hours, Rise & Shine, and Young Professional's Network) . Complete various special projects assigned by the Branch Manager . Employee Maintenance Monitor and communicate employee attendance and performance. Conduct new assignment start applicant / client follow-ups at direction of the Branch Manager . Initiate temporary employee disciplinary activities (deliver verbal/written warnings regarding attendance, attitude, safety, etc.) . Gather and record unemployment-related documentation (enter information into computer system) and participate in UI hearings as needed .

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas . Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment . Demonstrates professionalism in all aspects of work and maintains a high standard of quality, integrity, and expertise . Embraces challenges and tackles them with a combination of passion and perseverance, able to accept rejection . Possesses the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, able to juggle lots of data and easily recall information . Displays drive and a desire to pursue excellence, has a track record of meeting or exceeding goals . Upholds the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information .
