Job Description
Talent Ambassador
•
TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT
Identify top talent while providing an excellent candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition (TA) Team is seeking temporary support for 3-6 months. In this role, the Talent Ambassador will support recruitment processes and conduct interviews for store locations.
Responsibilities include:
Support and reinforce Dierbergs' company purpose
- Grow Every Day Provide an exceptional candidate experience to all candidates who you interact with Review completed applications and evaluate candidate work history, education, job skills and other qualifications to ensure we hire the best quality applicant Conduct interviews at various store locations
- locations will be determined weekly
- Evaluate and inquire about candidates' experience, behavior skills, availability and interests Inform candidates about job duties, responsibilities, union, salary and benefits, hours and working conditions, company policies, promotional opportunities and other related information Assist with hiring decisions
- Recommend applicants who meet Dierbergs qualifications and standards to keep the company optimally staffed Process candidates in a timely manner to include; conducting offer calls, processing background checks, hiring and onboarding new associates Be an advocate and educational resource for the Dierbergs' Referral Bonus program Be a resource regarding the application and interviewing process for store Associates, customers and candidates Maintain recruitment marketing as directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager
Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or high-volume interviewing preferred; retail recruitment experience a plus Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication Exceptional organizational skills Solid judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making ability Self-directed, proactive and motivated Able to keep information confidential Professional in appearance and demeanor • Works well with coworkers and customers from a wide range of backgrounds You must be at least 18 years old Ability and willingness to travel to all Dierbergs locations within the St.
