$17.50 to $21 per hour, depending on experience About Us Hamlett Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) that launched in 2023 and now operates in Fenton and St. James, MO. We are growing quickly, and our people are the reason we deliver. We are looking for an organized, friendly HR and Recruitment Assistant to help us find, hire, and support great team members. About the Role You will be the first point of contact for candidates and a steady support for our management team. You will keep our hiring pipeline moving, make sure new hires have a smooth start, and keep employee records accurate and up to date. This is a hands-on, on-site role in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Post job openings and manage applicants across job boards and our applicant tracking tools Screen resumes and applications, and make phone and text contact with candidates Schedule interviews, orientations, and onboarding sessions Prepare and track new hire paperwork, background checks, and onboarding steps Keep employee files, attendance records, and HR documentation accurate and confidential Follow up with candidates and new hires to reduce no-shows and keep the pipeline full Support managers with disciplinary documentation, policy reminders, and employee questions Track hiring metrics such as applicants, interviews, offers, and start dates, and report them weekly Help coordinate employee communications, recognition, and team events What We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or an HR certificate is a plus 1 or more years of experience in HR, recruiting, office administration, or customer service preferred Strong communication skills, both written and spoken Excellent organization and follow-through, with the ability to juggle many tasks at once Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and learning new software Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Reliable, punctual, and able to work on site Monday through Friday Nice to Have Experience in logistics, delivery, transportation, or high-volume hiring Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or Amazon DSP tools Knowledge of basic employment paperwork such as I-9 and onboarding documents What We Offer Consistent weekday daytime schedule with weekends off (we may require weekends ramping up during high-volume events) Competitive hourly pay Room to grow as the company grows A supportive, hands-on team that values good communication Hamlett Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
