What You'll Do Talent Sourcing & Business Development As the face of our recruiting efforts, you will build and maintain relationships that generate a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Develop and execute recruiting strategies to achieve hiring and activity goals Build referral networks and cultivate Centers of Influence (COIs) within the business community Identify and engage qualified candidates through referrals, networking, social media, career fairs, community events, and proactive outreach Represent Northwestern Mutual in local organizations, professional associations, and networking groups Strengthen the visibility and reputation of the Northwestern Mutual career opportunity throughout the community Partner with leadership to promote recruiting successes and growth initiatives Coordinate recruiting marketing campaigns, events, advertising, and branding efforts Collaborate with recruiters across the Northwestern Mutual network to share best practices, referrals, and successful recruiting strategies Recruiting & Candidate Experience You will guide candidates through a thoughtful, professional, and high-touch selection process. Serve as a subject matter expert on the Financial Representative career and Northwestern Mutual's value proposition Review resumes and conduct candidate screenings Facilitate initial interviews and administer selection tools Manage candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through consistent communication and relationship management Maintain integrity and quality throughout all stages of candidate evaluation Partner with leadership to continuously improve recruiting and selection processes Assist candidates through contracting, licensing, registration, onboarding, and pre-contract training requirements Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and hiring results Analyze recruiting ratios and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency Maintain accurate candidate records utilizing company recruiting systems and technology Prepare recruiting reports and dashboards for leadership meetings Use data and insights to make recommendations that support office growth objectives What Makes You Successful You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and building relationships.
