Establishes and maintains close working relationships with a variety of educational contacts to schedule on-site visits with students and parents. 2. Participates in both statewide and out-of-state college recruitment to promote the University's programs. Distributes resource materials for student recruitment. 3. Provides information about the University to students and arranges campus tours for prospective students and parents. 4. Participates in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials. 5. Serves as a liaison to develop partnerships between the university and local school systems throughout the state. 6. Responds to inquiries from students and agencies in assigned geographic areas of responsibility. 7. Participates in the development of department goals and objectives. Recommends, implements, and administers policies and procedures to enhance operations. 8. Assists in the development, marketing, and implementation of recruitment/enrollment activities. 9. Job Knowledge Knowledge of the basic program content and requirements of all degrees offered. Considerable knowledge of college readiness standards and initiatives. Ability to keep complex records; to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. Ability to work independently in remote locations with little to no supervision.
