Job Description

Friendly Senior Living is seeking a Temporary Recruitment Specialist to support high-volume recruitment for front-line roles across our organization. This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, moving quickly, staying organized, and helping candidates take the next step toward meaningful work in senior living. The Temporary Recruitment Specialist will partner with Human Resources and hiring leaders to support recruitment for front-line positions such as nursing, dining, environmental services, resident services, and other essential roles that directly support our residents and teams. What You'll Do Support high-volume recruitment efforts for front-line openings across Friendly Senior Living. Post jobs, review applications, and help move candidates through the hiring process quickly and professionally. Conduct initial phone screens and identify candidates who meet basic position requirements. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely follow-up to candidates. Maintain accurate applicant tracking notes, candidate statuses, and recruitment activity updates. Communicate with candidates regularly to provide a welcoming, responsive, and positive experience. Assist with recruitment outreach, job fairs, open interview events, referral activity, and community sourcing efforts. Make employment offers to selected candidates as directed and in accordance with approved compensation guidelines. Assist with new hire orientation as needed. Provide recruitment updates to Human Resources leadership regarding candidate flow, hard-to-fill roles, and priority vacancies. What We're Looking For Experience in recruitment, staffing, human resources, customer service, scheduling, or administrative coordination preferred. Ability to manage multiple open positions and candidate conversations at the same time. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with applicants and hiring managers. Comfort using applicant tracking systems, job boards, email, Microsoft Office, and other electronic tools. Excellent organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to confidentiality and candidate service.
