Job Summary:
The Staffing Office is the centralized location for day-to-day scheduling and staffing operations for designated units and departments. The Staffing Office Specialist provides daily staffing functions as well as administrative support related to staffing and position control for designated units/departments. This role ensures accurate use of organizational policies and procedures as well as maintains best practice standards established by the department. Critical thinking, collaboration, high attention to detail, and the ability to function under pressure with the focus remaining on caring customer service is essential. The ability to work independently while exercising high-quality judgment in maintaining schedules is also essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree with a minimum of three years of administrative or health care related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal and computer skills required. Excellent problem solving skills, collaboration, high attention to detail, and the ability to function under pressure with the focus remaining on caring customer service is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
