Job Description
Emergent is seeking a Bilingual Staffing Recruiter to build a new candidate pipeline for our light-industrial clients. You will develop relationships within local immigrant communities, source and interview candidates, match people with appropriate jobs, and support associates after placement. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building trust, and helping individuals find stable employment. The successful candidate will be comfortable creating a recruiting pipeline from the ground up through community outreach, referrals, job boards, calls, texts, and hiring events. Professional fluency in English and either Spanish or Haitian Creole is required . Responsibilities
- Build an active pipeline of candidates for manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, and distribution positions.
- Recruit through referrals, community partnerships, job boards, social media, hiring events, outbound calls, and text campaigns.
- Develop trusted relationships with churches, community organizations, workforce groups, and other referral partners.
- Interview candidates in English and Spanish or English and Haitian Creole.
- Evaluate each candidate's experience, skills, availability, transportation, reliability, and job fit.
- Clearly explain job duties, pay, schedule, working conditions, safety requirements, and attendance expectations.
- Match qualified candidates with available positions and coordinate interviews, orientations, and start dates.
- Partner with Intake Specialists to complete I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and other onboarding requirements.
- Confirm candidates before interviews, orientations, and first-day starts.
- Follow up with associates after placement and help resolve early attendance, transportation, communication, or job-fit issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in the company's applicant tracking system.
- Reconnect with available associates and redeploy qualified employees when assignments end.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Onsite Managers to meet changing client demand. What Success Looks Like Performance will be evaluated based on:

- Associate retention and successful redeployment
- Community relationships and referral activity
- Accurate and compliant candidate records Qualifications
- Professional fluency in English and either Spanish or Haitian Creole is required.
- Recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, community outreach, or other people-facing experience is preferred.
- Experience working with immigrant or multilingual communities is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, sending texts, attending community events, and initiating new relationships.
- Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work quickly without sacrificing placement quality or compliance.
- Comfortable learning job boards, texting platforms, and applicant-tracking systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community events and local outreach. Compensation and Benefits
- $23.00
- 26.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and language proficiency
- Quarterly performance bonuses with an annual target of approximately $3,000
