The full-time Donor Recruitment Specialist position supports the MKBC Bethlehem location by facilitating successful donor center and blood drive communication at our Bethlehem Call Center and registration at the front desk. The anticipated hourly wage starts at $15.07/hr and is commensurate with experience. What you will be doing:
Provide support to our donors by scheduling appointments both over the phone and in person. Educates donors on the need and importance for blood supply providing exceptional customer service. Recruits donors using Hemaconnect system Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner. Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully. Perform additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with SOP's, and assisting with special projects as needed What you will bring to the role: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required with 2 years of experience preferred in sales, customer service, call centers, healthcare or related fields. Strong experience in Outlook, multi-line phone systems, Microsoft office and Excel (preferred) Meet key performance metrics to contribute to the overall success of the team. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage with donors and employees of all backgrounds. Proven ability to maintain accuracy through strong attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to reliability and consistency in all tasks. Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, and reliability. A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.
Additional information:
This position reports directly to the Manager, Donor Recruitment and will be located at our Bethlehem center. They will be responsible for working the following schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. Approximately once or twice per month, the schedule will include a half-day weekend shift (9:00 AM-1:00 PM) on Saturday or Sunday. In exchange, the employee will receive a half-day off during the week. Reliable transportation and a clear and valid driver's license are required.
