Manufacturing & Hourly Hiring Location:
Lancaster or Denver, PA Schedule:
Full-time, primarily onsite A growing manufacturing organization is looking for a Recruiter to join its Human Resources team. This position will focus primarily on hiring production, manufacturing, warehouse, and other hourly employees in a fast-moving environment. The Recruiter will manage approximately 20 open positions at a time and work closely with plant leadership and HR to keep hiring activity moving. This opportunity is best suited for someone who communicates well, stays organized, follows through consistently, and is comfortable managing multiple searches and onboarding projects at once. The role will begin fully onsite in either Lancaster or Denver, Pennsylvania. Once the individual is fully trained and established, there may be some flexibility for a hybrid schedule, although the position will remain heavily connected to the manufacturing sites. What You'll Be Responsible For Manage full-cycle recruiting for production, manufacturing, warehouse, and hourly positions Carry an average workload of approximately 20 active requisitions Source candidates through job boards, direct outreach, referrals, community partnerships, and other channels Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the process Partner with operations leaders to understand staffing priorities and hiring timelines Coordinate background checks, references, pre-employment requirements, and new-hire paperwork Support onboarding and new-hire orientation Organize hiring events, job fairs, and community recruiting initiatives Keep applicant tracking records and recruiting reports accurate and current Monitor hiring progress, identify roadblocks, and provide regular updates to HR and operations Help create a professional and welcoming experience for candidates and new employees What They're Looking For Recruiting or HR experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, or high-volume hourly hiring Ability to independently manage multiple openings and competing priorities Strong communication and follow-up skills Good project-management and organizational ability Experience sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and extending offers Comfort working directly with plant managers, supervisors, and hourly employees Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where hiring needs can change quickly Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred Relevant recruiting experience may be considered in place of a degree SHRM certification is helpful, or willingness to pursue certification after joining What Makes Someone Successful Here The strongest person for this role will be responsive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the recruiting process. They should be able to communicate clearly with candidates and hiring managers, keep multiple searches moving, and recognize when a hiring issue needs to be escalated. This is a visible position within the organization, so professionalism, urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships on the manufacturing floor will be important. $68,389.71 - $75,000.00 per year
