Job Description
We are looking for a proactive Recruiter to support staffing efforts and help strengthen the employee experience in Lancaster, PA. This Contract position offers the opportunity to guide candidates through the selection process, support onboarding activities, and contribute to a detail-oriented, team-focused workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong organization, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in connecting people with the right opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process from opening requisitions through offer coordination and onboarding support.
- Identify and engage candidates with relevant experience through sourcing strategies tailored to high-volume and targeted staffing needs.
- Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and partner with teams to move candidates efficiently through the selection process.
- Organize and represent the company at events, job fairs, and community outreach activities to expand talent pipelines.
- Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system and ensure documentation meets compliance standards.
- Deliver new employee orientation and onboarding activities that help employees transition successfully into their roles.
- Coordinate pre-employment steps such as background checks, E-Verify, and screening requirements for all candidates.
- Support a positive candidate journey by communicating clearly, consistently, and effectively throughout the selection process.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a closely related area.
- Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate, compliant recruitment records.
- Ability to manage multiple openings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and a respectful approach to candidate and employee interactions.
