Our client is seeking an experienced construction/skilled trades recruiter to join their team on a contract basis. This person will be recruiting for low voltage and data center construction positions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruiting for low voltage, structured cabling, fiber optic, and data center construction positions. Sourced qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and industry outreach. Screened resumes, conducted phone interviews, and evaluated candidates based on technical skills and project experience. Partnered with hiring managers and project teams to understand staffing needs and prioritize hiring efforts. Coordinated interviews, offer negotiations, background checks, and onboarding for new hires. Built and maintained talent pipelines for technicians, lead technicians, foremen, project managers, superintendents, and field operations personnel. Maintained accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensured a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up. Supported high-volume hiring initiatives to meet project deadlines across multiple locations. Stayed current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices for skilled trades and mission-critical construction.
