Job Description
The Dual Credit Advisor Recruiter has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing student-centered advising, recruitment, and outreach services to prospective and current dual credit students. This position serves as a liaison between Lamar State College Port Arthur and regional high schools, supporting enrollment growth, student onboarding, and partner engagement. The role works closely with Dual Credit leadership, academic departments, and student services to ensure a seamless experience from initial interest through enrollment and progression. This is a full-time position that reports to LSCPA's Dual Credit department. Serve as a primary liaison between LSCPA and regional ISD partners Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, administrators, and instructors Advise prospective and current dual credit students on program options, course selection, admissions, and enrollment processes Support student onboarding, including application, testing, registration, and documentation requirements Coordinate and participate in recruitment activities such as campus visits, high school presentations, parent nights, and community events Assist ISD partners with recruitment strategies and student engagement efforts Create, package, and distribute recruitment and informational materials Collaborate with Dual Credit leadership to implement recruitment plans and growth strategies Assist with on-site and remote registration events Track, collect, and process required student documentation for enrollment Maintain accurate records and provide reports related to recruitment and enrollment activities Promote LSCPA dual credit programs through outreach, marketing initiatives, and public engagement Travel as needed to support partner schools and recruitment efforts Stay informed on trends, policies, and best practices in dual credit and student services Comply with campus policies and procedures Other related duties, as assigned
