Job Description

Job Title:

RecruiterJob Description This temporary Recruiter role focuses on high-volume hiring for light industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing positions. The role is predominantly remote, with periodic onsite visits to an Indianapolis office, so the recruiter must live within a three-hour commute of Indianapolis. The Recruiter manages a substantial requisition load, drives full-cycle recruiting, and partners closely with hiring managers to quickly fill critical roles while maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation. Responsibilities

+ Manage a requisition load of approximately 20-25 open positions at any given time.

+ Recruit for light industrial and related roles such as machine operators, warehouse associates, forklift operators, shipping personnel, customer service representatives, scale operators, and other similar positions.

+ Conduct requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring timelines, and candidate profiles.

+ Partner and communicate effectively with leadership and hiring managers to provide updates, align on recruiting strategies, and address hiring needs.

+ Source candidates using platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, and the internal applicant tracking system (ATS).

+ Execute full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.

+ Screen candidates to assess qualifications and fit for light industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing roles.

+ Schedule candidates for onsite interviews and coordinate logistics with hiring managers.

+ Turn requisitions around quickly by prioritizing high-volume roles and meeting hiring timelines.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and administrative support within the ATS and other recruitment systems.

+ Support talent acquisition efforts during peak seasons by extending work hours when needed to handle increased requisition volume.

+ Ensure recruitment practices align with organizational metrics and performance expectations. Essential Skills

+ At least 2 recent years of experience recruiting for light industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing roles.

+ Proven experience managing 20 or more requisitions simultaneously.

+ Demonstrated ability to turn requisitions around quickly and deliver timely hires.

+ Recent experience recruiting light industrial skill sets, including warehouse associates, machine operators, forklift operators, and material handlers.

+ Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition processes.

+ Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards for sourcing and managing candidates.

+ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with leaders and hiring managers.

+ Ability to provide administrative support within recruitment workflows and maintain organized documentation.

+ Experience in industrial recruitment, particularly within manufacturing, distribution, or agency environments.

+ Capability to work in a high-volume recruitment setting and meet performance metrics. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Background in Manufacturing, Distribution, or Agency recruiting environments.

+ Experience with multiple sourcing platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards.

+ Familiarity with various applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.

+ Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and multiple open requisitions.

+ Ability to adapt quickly during peak hiring seasons and support extended hours when required.

+ Attention to detail in communication and documentation to meet performance and compliance expectations. Work Environment The role is predominantly remote, allowing the Recruiter to work from home while maintaining regular hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. During peak hiring seasons, the Recruiter may need to extend the workday to 6:00 p.m. EST on some days to support high-volume requisitions. Periodic onsite presence at an Indianapolis office is required after initial training and once the Recruiter demonstrates strong performance, reliable communication, and thorough documentation skills, so the Recruiter must reside within a three-hour commute of Indianapolis. The work environment is metrics-driven and relies on technology such as job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, and an internal applicant tracking system to manage sourcing, screening, and hiring activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
