As a Staffing Specialist, you will recruit, screen, hire, and support Associates while serving as the key point of contact between MAU and its clients to ensure smooth, compliant, and successful staffing operations. Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great work environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional supplemental benefit programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA available after 12 months of service Shift Information Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on business needs Career Path Senior Staffing Specialist On-site Manager On-site Support Operations Manager Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field (Communications, Business Management, Human Resources) OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of equivalent experience 1-3 years of professional work experience in a professional business setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Education and Experience HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Background in staffing, manufacturing, HR, or production supervision General Requirements Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Results-driven, organized, and thorough Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer/client focus Computer and software proficiency Team-oriented with strong presentation skills High sense of urgency, flexibility, and professionalism Sound decision-making and strategic-thinking ability Essential Functions Maintain applicant flow by developing recruiting sources, processing candidates in the applicant tracking system, and partnering with Recruitment Marketing on job ad placement Review work orders and regularly engage with customers Pre-screen, interview, hire, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and manage employment status changes for Associates, including terminations Onboard new Associates according to client-specific standards Administer company policies and procedures Develop and update new hire orientation programs for new and existing clients Set up new pay and bill rates with management approval Administer client-required assessments Receive, process, and analyze customer work orders Process merit, tenure, and incentive-based pay increases Participate in the MAU 5S program, where applicable Resolve invoice non-payment issues with customers Manage cases for injured employees, including accident investigations and workers' compensation documentation Attend unemployment and workers' compensation hearings as needed Maintain strong customer relationships through scheduled client site visits Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates for quick job order turnaround Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed at customer facilities, including administrative offices and manufacturing environments Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, fax machines) Some client sites include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles Environments range from non-temperature-controlled settings to GMP clean rooms Physical Requirements Ability to lift 5-15 lbs occasionally Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours Ability to climb stairs occasionally Ability to sit for up to 8 hours Travel Up to 10% travel required, with minimal overnight stays MAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
