We're looking for an experienced recruiter who wants more than another job. We want someone who wants an opportunity. An opportunity to recruit. To learn. To contribute ideas. To develop professionally. To take on more responsibility. And, as our Knoxville operation grows, to have the opportunity to grow right along with it. We're especially interested in someone with recruiting or staffing experience who is ready to show us what they can do. But before you apply, let's make sure this actually sounds like you.
THIS MAY NOT BE YOUR JOB
IF... Getting up early is a daily battle. We start at 7:30 a.m. We need someone dependable, on time, and ready to go. You need someone else to create your sense of urgency. Staffing moves fast. Recruiting requires energy, initiative, persistence, and the ability to change direction when something isn't working. Accountability feels like criticism. We believe in owning our work — the successes, the mistakes, the follow-up, and the results. Constructive feedback ruins your day. Nobody walks in knowing everything. We want someone confident enough to contribute ideas and coachable enough to keep developing. You wait to be told what to do next. When applications slow down, we don't sit around waiting for them to magically appear. We source. We call. We search. We post. We try something different.
BUT IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE
YOU... You like a challenge. You enjoy talking to people. You get satisfaction from finding the right person for a difficult opening. You follow through. You bring energy into a room. You can take direction without losing your initiative. You want feedback because you actually want to get better. You have ideas — and you're willing to put some effort behind them. You'd rather be part of building something than simply maintaining it. Then we really want to meet you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll help drive recruiting for our Knoxville operation by: Sourcing and recruiting candidates Screening applicants and identifying strong matches Maintaining candidate communication and follow-up Working Indeed and other recruiting platforms Using social media creatively to reach candidates Scheduling interviews and onboarding appointments Assisting new hires through the onboarding process Coordinating pre-employment requirements Maintaining accurate information in our applicant-tracking system Communicating with applicants and current employees Supporting the daily recruiting and administrative operation of the office Experience with an applicant-tracking system is a plus. Avionté BOLD experience is an even bigger plus.
WHERE CAN THIS GO?
That's partly up to you. This position has room for growth and development as our Knoxville operation grows. The right person will have opportunities to develop additional skills in recruiting, staffing operations, employee relations, client service, and leadership while taking on greater responsibility as their capabilities develop. We aren't looking for someone to stay inside a tiny box labeled Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator. We want someone who wants to learn the business.

STILL READING?
Good. Because the person we're looking for probably didn't get scared off by the accountability section.
