Focus areas include sourcing candidates, engaging with the community, and managing the recruitment process from initial contact through selection. Critical competencies include interpersonal savvy, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective priority setting, and a drive for results. Primary Responsibilities - Sourcing & Selection Review resumes and schedule initial interviews with prospective financial representatives. Own the relationship and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Manage key steps of the process: screen candidates, conduct first interviews, administer screening tools, and guide candidates through each stage. Build and develop effective referral sources within the office, among community advocates, and through other channels to generate qualified leads. Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies (social media, flyers, local events, etc.) to support recruiting goals. Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices. Primary Responsibilities - Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis Report weekly recruiting activity to the leadership team. Use home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects, ensuring efficiency in the selection process. Assist with coordination of leadership team meetings and preparation of activity/results reports. Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in the selection process and implement improvements. May oversee contract and licensing responsibilities as part of the recruitment function. Qualifications Associates degree, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting, or a related field. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and interact effectively with individuals at all levels. Experience with prospecting and generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake. Strong network of personal/professional advocates or meaningful community involvement.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
