Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Co-op provides administrative, sourcing, and recruiting support to the Talent Acquisition team while gaining hands-on experience in corporate recruiting, employer branding, talent pipelines, and HR operations. This position is designed for a current college student interested in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field. The co-op will work directly with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR professionals to support recruiting activities across engineering, manufacturing, operations, corporate services, and other business functions. This role offers exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle and serves as a developmental opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Recruiting Support Assist recruiters with job posting creation and management. Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates. Conduct initial candidate outreach and scheduling coordination. Support interview scheduling and candidate communications. Maintain candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Assist with recruiting correspondence and offer preparation activities. Sourcing & Talent Pipelines Conduct talent searches using LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms. Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future openings. Research talent markets, universities, and industry competitors. Support diversity, military, university, and early-career recruiting initiatives. University & Campus Recruiting Assist with planning and coordinating campus recruiting events. Support internship and co-op recruitment efforts. Help maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, and career centers. Participate in job fairs, career events, and networking activities as available. Talent Acquisition Operations Prepare recruiting reports, dashboards, and hiring metrics. Audit candidate and requisition data for accuracy. Assist with candidate surveys and hiring manager feedback initiatives. Support onboarding and new hire orientation activities. Help improve recruiting processes and documentation. Employer Branding & Communications Assist with social media recruiting campaigns. Create content highlighting company culture, internships, co-op programs, and career opportunities. Support employee branding and talent attraction initiatives. Assist with recruiting presentations and marketing materials. Learning Opportunities Through this co-op experience, the student will gain exposure to: Full-cycle recruiting processes Candidate sourcing techniques HR compliance and employment practices University recruiting programs Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Recruitment metrics and analytics Employer branding strategies Corporate onboarding processes Professional communication and stakeholder management Qualifications Required Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Management, or a related field. Minimum sophomore standing preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Prior internship, campus leadership, customer service, or administrative experience. Familiarity with LinkedIn or social media platforms. Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or employer branding. Experience working on projects independently or within a team environment.
