Summary Description :
The recruiter position is responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for driver positions throughout the company. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure, as well as extensive knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices and DOT requirements for commercial drivers.

Protects and promotes the Detmar Brand at all times Supports and executes Detmar Logistics internal processes and methodologies Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships across all business units, emphasizing functions within the company and its capacity to serve as a productive leader Actively leads efforts that encourage equitable problem resolution and improved working relationships. Stands out as a role model for others through daily interaction and leadership example and as a resource for other team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Processes job requisitions Coordinates with Director of Fleet Development to determine best recruiting process for positions. Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies. Screens and interviews applicants Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy Monitors sign-on bonuses, determining if the driver qualifies Processes reports such as MVR and PSP for each owner-operator and company driver Ensures documentation pertaining to trucks and trailers is received before orientation Performs all duties as assigned by the Director of Fleet Development Preferred Education Knowledge of Frac/Oil Industry CDL Certification High school diploma or equivalent Basic Computer Skills Knowledge Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Knowledge of DOT requirements for drivers Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay:
$58,346.55 - $70,266.81 per year
