Academic Partnerships General Summary The College Recruiter promotes and represents Odessa College to prospective students, parents, school counselors, and educational partners. Serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students, the recruiter provides information about academic programs, admissions, financial aid, and student services while guiding students through the recruitment and admissions process. The recruiter builds relationships with schools and community organizations, participates in recruitment events, and supports enrollment efforts by connecting prospective students with the resources needed to begin their journey at Odessa College. Specific Position Duties Assists in the development and implementation of effective recruitment strategies to attract and engage prospective students to Odessa College. Represents Odessa College at college fairs, high school visits, career expos, community events, and other recruitment activities. Conducts informational sessions, presentations, and outreach activities to provide prospective students and families with information regarding academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, financial aid, and campus resources. Builds and maintains positive relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, educational partners, and other stakeholders to support recruitment efforts. Coordinates campus tours, recruitment visits, and other opportunities for prospective students and their families to learn more about Odessa College. Responds to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and community partners in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner. Maintains accurate and timely records of recruitment activities, prospective student interactions, outreach efforts, and related data. Collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team to support the development of recruitment materials, including brochures, digital content, and promotional resources. Assists with the planning, coordination, and execution of recruitment events, outreach initiatives, and student engagement activities. Participates in college committees, meetings, and special projects as assigned to support institutional goals and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited institution. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inform prospective students and families. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, educational partners, and community stakeholders. Knowledge of college admissions processes, financial aid resources, and current higher education trends. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Annual Salary $42,000
