Job Summary:
The Staffing Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions with client organizations. This role requires a proactive approach to building talent pipelines, fostering client relationships, and delivering high-quality recruitment services to meet staffing needs. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing:
Utilize job boards, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), networking events, and referrals to attract and engage active and passive candidates.
Screening & Interviewing:
Conduct phone screens, video interviews, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for client roles.
Client Collaboration:
Partner with clients to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and company culture to ensure accurate candidate matching.
Job Posting:
Create and post compelling job descriptions on various platforms to attract top talent.
Candidate Management:
Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
Data Management:
Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Relationship Building:
Foster strong relationships with candidates, clients, and internal teams to enhance the recruitment experience.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition; experience in a staffing agency is preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency with ATS software and recruitment tools. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Attributes:
Results-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience recruiting for specific industries (light industrial, manufacturing and administrative).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced office with occasional travel to client sites or job fairs. Standard hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm with flexibility for evening/weekend work to accommodate candidate or client schedules. #IND3
Pay:
