This individual will use the BEK Health platform, clinic databases, digital advertising, community outreach, and other recruitment strategies to identify and connect eligible patients with clinical research opportunities. Key Responsibilities Use the BEK Health system to identify potential clinical trial participants. Review clinic patient records and recruitment lists in accordance with HIPAA, study protocols, and company policies. Conduct telephone prescreening to determine potential study eligibility. Clearly explain clinical research opportunities to patients and answer general questions. Schedule screening visits and provide appointment reminders and follow-up. Work closely with physicians, clinical research coordinators, site managers, and study teams. Develop recruitment plans for each new clinical trial. Contact potential participants through approved telephone, text, email, and patient portal campaigns. Support social media, digital advertising, community events, physician referrals, and local outreach initiatives. Build relationships with medical practices, community organizations, and patient advocacy groups. Maintain accurate records of calls, referrals, prescreening results, appointments, and enrollment outcomes. Track recruitment activity and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports. Identify recruitment barriers and recommend solutions to improve screening and enrollment. Follow all HIPAA, GCP, FDA, IRB, protocol, and company confidentiality requirements. Performance Expectations The Patient Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for meeting established recruitment goals, including: Number of patients identified through BEK Health and other sources Number of patients contacted Number of completed telephone prescreens Number of scheduled screening appointments Screening appointment attendance rate Number of patients screened and enrolled Conversion rate from initial contact to screening and enrollment Timely follow-up with all potential participants Accurate and complete documentation of recruitment activities Qualifications Experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, healthcare, medical scheduling, sales, call-center operations, or community outreach preferred. Strong telephone communication and patient-engagement skills. Comfortable learning and using BEK Health, electronic medical records, databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems. Ability to communicate medical and research information in a clear, friendly, and professional manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies and recruitment campaigns. Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable performance goals. Ability to protect confidential patient and study information. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred. Previous clinical research or patient recruitment experience is a plus.
