Student - UVU Ambassador Manager

Utah Valley University is looking for a Wolverine Ambassador. A Wolverine Ambassador is often the first contact a prospective student has with Utah Valley University. They must possess great interpersonal skills and professionalism. An Ambassador Manager has the following responsibilities: Coordinate a team of Ambassadors as they fulfill program responsibilities including coordinating high school visits, recruitment events, and leadership development Manage a group of 8 - 11 scholarship students. Provide campus tours to prospective students. Answer inquiries about general UVU admissions, scholarships, financial aid, university knowledge and degree program questions. Travel to high schools and transfer schools to recruit students to Utah Valley University. Use various mediums to recruit students to Utah Valley University. General office duties as assigned. Some evenings and weekends are required. Must be a current UVU student. Working knowledge of Utah Valley University and higher education in general. Excellent public communication skills. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form clearly and concisely across multiple mediums such as email, phone, internet, technology, and personal interactions. Ability to manage conflict and team dynamics.
