Job Description
We are looking for a Recruiter to join the team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on a Contract basis. This position focuses on managing active hiring needs in a fast-paced corporate environment, with strong attention to sourcing and early-stage candidate engagement. The ideal candidate brings experience handling multiple openings at once, building talent pipelines, and working confidently with recruiting technology and applicant tracking systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of open requisitions and keep recruitment activity moving efficiently across multiple roles.
- Identify and attract candidates with relevant experience through proactive sourcing strategies across job boards, databases, and industry networks.
- Conduct initial outreach to prospective applicants and build interest in available opportunities.
- Review resumes and assess candidate backgrounds to determine alignment with hiring needs.
- Lead early-stage screening conversations to evaluate qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and workflow updates within the applicant tracking system, including Greenhouse or similar platforms.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support ongoing hiring efforts until permanent staffing needs are filled.
- Use recruiting systems and technology tools effectively to improve search results, candidate tracking, and communication throughout the hiring process.
