As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be the driving force behind building and sustaining a high-quality candidate pipeline that meets the staffing demands of our clients. This is a recruiting-first role designed for a motivated, people-centered professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting talent to opportunity. The ideal candidate brings a multi-channel recruiting mindset — equally comfortable sourcing candidates through job fairs, digital platforms, community partnerships, and grassroots outreach.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the following primary responsibilities: Develop and execute a multi-channel recruiting strategy to build a robust, ready-to-deploy candidate pipeline for light industrial roles. Plan, organize, and attend job fairs, hiring events, and career expos to attract qualified candidates at scale. Leverage job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.) to post positions, manage applicant flow, and proactively source passive candidates. Build and maintain community engagement networks including partnerships with workforce development centers, re-entry programs, trade schools, and local organizations. Identify and cultivate new sourcing channels and referral pipelines to continuously expand the candidate pool. Conduct initial phone screens, in-person interviews, and skills assessments to evaluate candidate fit for client roles. Manage the full candidate lifecycle from first contact through offer acceptance, ensuring a positive experience at every step. Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding including documentation, orientation, and client-site introductions. Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and ensure all candidate data is current in the ATS. Collaborate with Client Delivery team to anticipate workforce needs and align recruiting activity accordingly.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally within staffing, light industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors. Demonstrated success executing multi-channel recruiting strategies including job fairs, community outreach, social media, and digital job boards. Experience building and maintaining community partnerships to drive applicant flow. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage authentically with a diverse candidate base. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and candidates simultaneously. Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and common productivity tools Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently Reliable transportation required; role involves regular travel to community sites, client locations, and recruiting events.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
