Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for Indian Community Outreach to promote WaPrep's unique educational offerings within the Indian community, both locally in the Puget Sound area and internationally. This paid position involves developing targeted outreach strategies, engaging with prospective students and families, and representing WaPrep at community events. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, skilled in public speaking, and experienced in student recruitment and community engagement. Responsibilities Design and implement outreach campaigns tailored to the Indian community to increase awareness of WaPrep's programs Conduct presentations and informational sessions at community centers, cultural events, and schools to promote admissions Build strong relationships with community leaders, local businesses, organizations, and educational partners to foster ongoing collaboration Manage communication channels including social media, newsletters, and outreach records to engage prospective families effectively Guide applicants through the admissions process and provide exceptional customer service throughout recruitment Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, inquiries, and applicant data Stay informed about educational policies, compliance regulations, and school policies relevant to international student recruitment Perform other assigned duties and tasks as needed Experience Proven experience in public speaking, community outreach, or marketing within educational settings or related fields Existing relationships with, or strong familiarity within, the Indian community, locally and/or internationally Strong understanding of admissions processes and enrollment management, or a willingness to learn quickly Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly within the Indian community or international contexts Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written communication skills for creating outreach materials and reports Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with the team Fluent in English; additional Indian languages a strong plus Familiarity with US immigration pathways is a plus, not required Compensation Base salary, trial period (first 2 months): $2,000 per month Base salary, after trial period: $3,000 per month Bonus per successfully recruited and enrolled student: $1,000 Other commission paid separately per qualified deal Bonus and commission are uncapped, there is no limit to how much additional income this role can earn beyond the base salary Join us at WaPrep to make a meaningful impact on students' futures by connecting vibrant communities with transformative educational opportunities!
