$31.00 - $39.00/hr.

Operations Recruiter — Warehouse & Transportation Hiring Harbor Wholesale has a 100+ year history of superlative service in wholesale food & beverage distribution in the Pacific Northwest, California and Nevada. We're looking for a dynamic and sharp Operations Recruiter to keep essential operations moving by finding great talent for our warehouse and transportation teams across Washington, Oregon and California. This position partners with hiring managers, builds strong candidate pipelines, and supports high-volume recruiting for the roles that power our distribution network. Roles include warehouse, inventory control, all areas of transportation and staff, coffee field technicians, shop and safety positions. Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and keep hiring moving. Build talent pipelines through agencies, schools, community groups, career fairs, and hiring events. Manage candidate activity and interview updates in the Applicant Tracking System. Screen resumes, interview candidates, recommend hires, and support offer delivery. Coordinate internal transfers, including interviews and transfer or offer letters. Stay familiar with warehouse and transportation roles through routine job shadowing. Work in tandem with the corporate recruiter and HR team. Support recruiting compliance and other HR projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Strong Microsoft Office skills with prior experience with an ATS systems (Applicant tracking System). Excellent organization, written and verbal communication, filing, and presentation skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential information. Ability to collaborate respectfully with employees and leaders across the organization. Ability to travel to CDL schools throughout the year and to Harbor distribution centers annually. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving recruiting environment and adjust as hiring needs change.
Qualifications Education and experience:
Three to five years of recruiting experience in a large company environment preferred CDL driver recruiting experience is highly preferred Full interview and assessment experience in warehouse operations. Bachelor's or associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
