Contract Help Build the Future of AI Are you a people person who enjoys connecting with communities, building relationships, and finding creative ways to engage people? We are looking for a Community Outreach & Recruitment Specialist to recruit participants for paid AI research studies in the Seattle/Redmond area. This is not a traditional HR recruiting position . You'll use a combination of community outreach, social media, referrals, local events, networking, digital outreach, and relationship-building to connect people with paid research opportunities. You'll serve as a local representative, helping build awareness, establish trusted community relationships, and create strong participant pipelines. What You'll Do Develop and execute participant recruitment strategies using digital outreach, social media, referrals, community partnerships, events, and other creative sourcing methods. Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, businesses, cultural groups, and community networks . Engage with potential participants both online and in person . Educate potential participants about research opportunities and guide them through the registration process. Identify new outreach channels and creative sourcing strategies to reach specialized or hard-to-find participant populations. Represent the organization professionally within the local community. Adapt recruitment strategies based on project requirements, target audiences, timelines, and recruitment goals. Post study opportunities through channels such as Indeed, Craigslist, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and local community networks . Build and maintain an active participant recruitment pipeline. Track outreach activity, participant registrations, pipeline progress, and recruitment results using company tools and reporting systems. Collaborate with recruiting, scheduling, and project teams to achieve participant recruitment and study-completion goals. Travel within the assigned market and occasionally to other markets as needed. What We're Looking For Based in or around Seattle/Redmond, WA . Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable engaging and building relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Creative, resourceful, proactive, and results-driven. Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet recruitment goals. Experience in one or more of the following: Participant Recruitment Community Outreach Community Engagement Recruiting Community Organizing Canvassing Brand Ambassador Programs Events Sales Marketing Membership Growth Customer Engagement Proficient with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Excel . Comfortable using social media platforms, messaging apps, and digital outreach tools. Able to travel within the assigned market and occasionally to other markets. Preferred Qualifications Experience in participant recruitment, community outreach, or AI/data collection . Experience creating and launching outreach campaigns from scratch. Experience using online, social, and community-based channels to attract and engage target audiences. Experience building and managing recruitment pipelines. Experience engaging multicultural and diverse communities . Multilingual skills are a plus.
