Staffing Consultant - Hospitality & Gig Recruiting - Spokane, WA Express Employment Professionals in Spokane is hiring a Staffing Consultant to lead recruiting for our hospitality and gig/short-term placements. This role fills fast-moving shift work: housekeeping, cooking, and serving positions with catering companies, cooks, dishwashers, and banquet servers for hotels around town, plus bartenders, baristas, and similar front- and back-of-house roles. If you know the hospitality world and understand how urgent it is to fill a shift before it starts, we want to talk to you. Source, screen, and place candidates for gig and short-term hospitality roles, often on same-day or next-day timelines Build and maintain a reliable bench of cooks, servers, bartenders, baristas, housekeeping staff, and dishwashers ready to work on short notice Manage relationships with hotel, catering, and food service clients, understanding their staffing patterns and busy seasons Move quickly and prioritize under pressure when urgent fill requests come in Conduct interviews, run background/reference checks, and match candidates to the right shifts and employers What we're looking for: recruiting or staffing experience, and/or extensive experience working in food service or hospitality (restaurants, hotels, catering, or similar). You should understand the pace of the industry, know what makes a good candidate for these roles, and be comfortable working fast without sacrificing quality.

Pay:

Base pay plus commission. Combined earnings typically result in an effective hourly rate of $25.00 - $35.00/hour
