The Associate Admissions Recruiter serves as a key member of the Admissions team, responsible for recruiting, engaging and enrolling prospective students. This position combines admissions counseling with consultative sales, requiring proactive outreach, relationship building and consistent follow-up with prospective families through the enrollment process. The Ideal candidate is energetic, goal-oriented, and comfortable spending a significant portion of their day on phone calls, video meetings, email communication, and follow-up activities. Key Responsibilities:
Enrollment & Sales Development Manage a pipeline of prospective students and families from initial inquiry through enrollment. Conduct high-volume outbound phone calls, emails, text messages, and virtual meetings with prospective families. Build rapport and establish trust with families while effectively communicating the value of St. John's Northwestern Academy's education. Utilize consultative sales techniques to identify family needs, address objections, and guide families toward enrollment decisions. Consistently follow up with prospective families to maintain engagement and move them through the admissions funnel/ Meet established enrollment, tour, application and conversion goals. Track all interactions and follow-up activities within the schools CRM system.
Recruitment & Outreach :
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified domestic and international students. Represent the Academy at recruitment events, school visits, educational fairs, virtual events, and open houses. Generate new leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, and community outreach efforts. Schedule and conduct personalized campus tours and virtual admissions presentations. Coordinate special visit experiences for prospective students and families.
Admissions Process Management:
Guide Applicants through each step of the admissions and enrollment process. Review application materials and ensure completion of required documentation. Assist with admissions committee preparation and enrollment recommendations. Communicate admissions decisions and next-step requirements professionally and promptly.
Family Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned prospective families. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment and enrollment process. Address questions regarding academics, athletics, military leadership programs, boarding life, financial aid, and student services. Maintain consistent communication with families to ensure a positive admissions experience.
Data & Performance Management:
Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and enrollment activities. Monitor inquiry, application, and enrollment conversion metrics. Prepare admissions reports and recruitment activity summaries. Utilize CRM reports to identify opportunities for increased engagement and enrollment growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support admissions events, orientation programs, and enrollment initiatives. Collaborate with academic, athletic, residential and financial aid departments to support enrollment goals. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (Associate's degree considered with significant admissions, sales, or customer service experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin, or another language commonly spoken by prospective families Experience working in admissions, enrollment management, educational consulting, hospitality, customer service or sales.
