Job Description

Overview The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for building and leading a scalable recruiting function that supports PowerGrid's growth, and multi-entity structure. This is a new role that will establish recruiting strategies, standardize hiring processes, and improve speed, quality, and cost effectiveness of talent acquisition. The position will partner closely with leaders across both operations and corporate functions. This position is a strong opportunity for a high performing, high potential recruiter ready to not only source great talent, but step into broader leadership responsibility and help build a modern recruiting function from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Recruiting Operations & Execution Lead day to day recruiting operations across multiple business units in partnership with HR teams and hiring managers Support recruiting efforts across a diverse range of positions including field operations, skilled trades, professional, corporate, and leadership roles Manage requisition flow, prioritization, and recruiting capacity Ensure consistent execution of sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes Partner with HR Operations to integrate recruiting workflows into UKG and related systems Balance strategic priorities with hands on recruiting execution Recruiting Strategy & Workforce Alignment Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business growth and workforce planning needs Build proactive pipelines for high volume and hard to fill operational roles as well as key professional and leadership positions Identify recruiting risks and develop practical solutions to support operational continuity Process Design & Standardization Design and implement consistent recruiting processes across business units Standardize intake, requisition approval, and hiring workflows Reduce variability in hiring practices across locations Build scalable recruiting infrastructure that can support continued organizational growth Improve hiring consistency and candidate experience across both operational and corporate recruiting processes Vendor & Resource Management Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, staffing agencies, and job platforms Evaluate vendor performance, cost, and effectiveness Optimize use of external resources to balance cost and speed Reduce dependency on high cost agencies where possible Data, Metrics & Performance Management Track and report key recruiting metrics including time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, and pipeline health Use data to identify bottlenecks and improve recruiting performance Provide insights to leadership on hiring trends, workforce risks, and recruiting gaps Hiring Manager Capability & Partnership Partner with hiring managers to improve interview effectiveness and hiring decisions Improve quality, consistency, and speed of hiring decisions across the organization Build strong working relationships with operational leaders and corporate leadership teams across multiple business units Qualifications 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience Experience supporting both operational/high volume recruiting and corporate/professional hiring environments Proven ability to improve recruiting processes, structure, and outcomes Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills in fast paced environments Ability to influence hiring managers and drive accountability Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping build structure where processes are still evolving Demonstrated hands on recruiting capability with a willingness to personally engage in recruiting execution when needed Ability to recruit across a broad range of position types and organizational levels Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or other field based organizations Experience supporting growth, integration, or multi entity environments Experience recruiting for corporate functional areas including HR, finance, operations, safety, or leadership roles Experience with HRIS and ATS systems including UKG or similar platforms Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field Previous experience stepping into a leadership or player coach style recruiting role in a scaling organization
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
