The right person should naturally: Source passive candidates Build target-company lists Pick up the phone Follow up consistently Move quickly on strong candidates Solve difficult searches proactively Take ownership without constant follow-up Required Qualifications 5+ years of recruiting, Talent Acquisition, and/or HR experience Strong recent hands-on recruiting experience Construction or closely related AEC recruiting experience Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates Experience recruiting professional and leadership-level positions Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills Experience partnering directly with executives and hiring managers Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through Ability to manage multiple critical searches simultaneously Experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting tools Ability to work on-site in the Denver metro area Strongly Preferred Direct commercial General Contractor recruiting experience or Recruiting agency working for General Contractors Experience recruiting Senior PMs, PMs, Superintendents, Estimators, and construction BD professionals Experience in a growing construction organization Experience assessing and improving HR or recruiting processes Experience establishing recruiting KPIs and scorecards Experience helping build or scale an HR / Talent Acquisition function Understanding of commercial GC terminology and organizational structure What Success Looks Like The successful candidate should be able to quickly: Take ownership of critical searches Build qualified pipelines without waiting for applicants Reduce leadership's need to personally source candidates Improve recruiting speed and candidate quality Maintain strong follow-up and ATS discipline Identify gaps in HR and recruiting processes Implement practical improvements Build systems that support continued company growth Become a trusted advisor to leadership Over time, this person should be capable of helping build and lead a larger HR / Talent Acquisition function.
